Sydney Frontrunners welcomes all those interested in maintaining their fitness through the sport of running. Our organisation has been going for 26 years and we run and participate in a number of events throughout the year. Events include City 2 Surf, Sri Chinmoy, Blackmores Running Festival Events, Mardi Gras fun runs, Little Black Dress Runs and a whole host of other fabulous activities both running and social. Everybody is welcome – Whether you are a beginner, a retired runner, a fun-runner, fitness freak, a competitive short, medium or long-distance walker, sprinter, runner, cyclist or breakfast eater only — you are welcome. What do we do? We run, in fact we run just about everywhere. We do regular training on Saturdays and through the week and also enter a variety of events throughout the year such as fun runs, half & full marathons. |

Get Set for Cologne
We’re about to send off 25 runners to Cologne for a great time. Everybody has their own separate transport and accommodation arrangements and will be meeting up in Cologne for a week of fun, running and socialising. Unfortunately not everybody can go but we’ll be thinking of you. Security – Please consider your safety at all times and also be careful of where your possessions are, particularly passports, wallets and credit cards as these can be time consuming and difficult to replace when overseas. Even when you fly do not place wallets in overhead lockers, keep them on your person. Take some culture – Although you are attending athletic events don’t forget to learn something about the local culture, the people and places. Develop friendships with the locals and tell them about Australia too. Be organised – Double check your times and events to ensure that you are where you are meant to be, I know this sounds stupidly obvious but I will put money on it. Forum – During the games this page will hold any comments. Please use it to tell us all that you are having a good time or whatever. Emergency Contacts

12K Run – to Bronte Beach & backA more challenging run with some hills but a particularly beautiful run when you get down near the beach and see the waves rolling in. Some runners have been known to take a quick dip in the middle of the run during summer.
