Hi Everyone

Thanks for confirming your interest in the Sydney Frontrunners R2R5K Program for Women and welcome to the Program! To help us prepare for the Program and to ensure we design it in a way that takes into account everyone’s current health and fitness levels, we’d like you to complete a pre-participation questionnaire. Please be assured that your responses will be treated confidentially and will only be seen by the two of us involved in designing and leading the Program (myself and Sally Taggart – our qualified athletics coach). This questionnaire should take you no longer than 5 minutes to complete and will also ask you to identify if you’d like a SFR Visor or Cap (free of charge).

 As part of the Program you will also receive free membership of Sydney Frontrunners until the end of the financial year. If you go to our website via the link below, under MEMBERSHIP, there are only 2 "Registration Types" available right now. Select the Women's R2R5k option that shows the cost as $0. It would be great if you could complete the pre-participation questionnaire and register as a member by Monday 17 April.

Are you interested in taking up running or coming back to running after a break? Sydney Frontrunners (SFR) is offering a free R2R5K Program for Women. The Program commences Saturday 22 April will be run over 10 consecutive weeks on Saturday mornings. We will meet at Centennial Park Duck Pond at 8.30am. Each session will go for about an hour.

The Program will be run by SFR women in a relaxed, positive and supportive environment. The Program is based on 10 weeks of gradual progress to help you become confident to run 5km. Along the way you will receive ongoing coaching and advice. We will have a guest speaker along at some sessions to discuss nutrition and other health-related topics.

As part of the Program you will receive free membership of Sydney Frontrunners and a Sydney Frontrunners cap or visor. You'll also have the opportunity to meet new friends and improve your overall health.
