Saturday 25th February 2017, Marrickville Town Hall
ACON’s Women’s Team is sprucing up Mardi Gras with a massive social event for women who are lesbian, bisexual or queer. This event supports ACON’s current health promotion campaign #TalkTouchTest, which encourages women to take an active role in maintaining breast health and preventing breast cancer.

DAY EVENT: 10:30am – 4:30pm 
Our day event will feature performances, stalls and a writer’s event. There will be food trucks, good coffee and plenty of live music. We will also have a chalk art event happening on the pavement outside the venue, where over the course of the day a wonderful footpath mural will unfold. Think Mardi Gras Fair Day – but all about women! Showbags full of goodies will be also be available to anyone who gets a mammogram on the day. 

NIGHT EVENT: 5:30pm – 11:30pm 
The day event will give way to a big party event, featuring the Gay and Lesbian Choir, Rosie Rivette Burlesque, the Bad Bitch Choir, That Red Head (plus some awesome swing dancers) and Bluehouse. 

All through the night the bar will be open, plus several great options for an evening meal. 
Throughout the night our star Claude Team women will be providing short talks about Safe Sex, Body Love and other ways to love each other/ ourselves. 

We would like to invite you, and your social/ sporting club, to play a part in our event. We are sending a callout for stallholders would like to spruik for new members, raise some money for your club or just engage with terrific women from all walks of life. 

We will have professional photographers there on the day who can take some great shots for your website/ publicity. We can also promote your social/ sporting club through social media or on ACON’s website. 

About the Stalls: YES - SFR HAS ONE !!
There are limited stalls available due to the size of the hall, so if you want to reserve a space, get in quick. Each stall will be a little larger than a trestle table. You will need to be set up from 10am, and pack up by 4:30pm. You will also need to let me know if you need access to power so I know where to place you. There is no charge for having a stall.

Setting up your stall - Access:
The Marrickville Town Hall only has one entrance point, which is the front door. We would suggest driving your vehicle up to the front door between 9am – 10am, unpacking all your stuff into the foyer area and parking your vehicle in Marrickville, and then returning to set up your stall. There is a very small parking area behind the building if needed. 

Big Photo Opportunity: At 4pm we are aiming for Sydney’s Biggest LBQ Women’s Flash Mob! This is your chance to represent your club or group in a big photo outside the Marrickville Town Hall. This is going to be one epic photo opportunity, so make sure you’re there to be part of the sexiest group shot in history. 
Packing up your stall:
At 4:30pm, we will need to pack up all stalls so we can start setting up for our big party! This means that between 4:30pm and 5:30pm, you will need to drive your vehicle up to the front entrance way, and pack up whatever you have left over from the day.
